Gayle Catherine Ury

On Jun 7, 2024, Ms. Gayle Ury made her

spiritual transition form this earth. She was 65

years young.

Artistically talented, Gayle was additionally gifted

with a very cordial and humorous personality. The

type that once you knew her, you understood why

she was so well liked by so many people.

Gayle was a graduate of Aurora Central High

School (1976). After graduation she became a

career employee with the telephone companies,

both Mountain Bell and later, U.S. West until her

retirement (2000), after some 24 years of service,

due to failing health.

In addition to her career with the telephone

company, Gayle attended and graduated from the

University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in

Business Administration.

Gayle was also an extremely talented artist.

Though she had a fascination for watercolors and

oils, her specialty was woodburning from which she

created a wide assortment of art objects ranging

from sports team logo gift boxes to women’s one of

a kind personal gift box.

Though Gayle is no longer physically amongst us,

the essence of whom she was and how much she

meant to so many will continue to dwell within the

minds and hearts of her family members, her close

friends and many of the associates, that

throughout her life had known her and truly loved

her.

Survived by members of the family are Mrs.

Dorothy Ury- (mother), son Robert and wife

Tammy Ury, son Jim and wife Sheryl Ury,

nephews Brandon and Travis Ury, niece Hannah Ury, Russell

Shockley, (life companion). Gayle is preceded in death by her father

Mr. Robert Ury.

A Memorial Services will be held on July 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the,

Church of the Living Water Church
