In Loving Memory: Peg Thompson
Peg Thompson (legal name); Margaret Ann Thompson (birth name) 1945-December 1, 2024.
Peg was proud to be a Coloradan! She hiked in the mountains, scouted for streams in which to fly fish, enjoyed flowers in a variety of environments and loved the state's many birds and animals. She loved dogs! She and her spouse fostered nine dogs during the pandemic and lived joyfully with nine dogs of their own along the way. Peg enjoyed her work as a psychologist, spiritual director, writer, teacher, mentor, and counselor for residents in nursing homes. She valued justice – and social justice. She supported causes that advocated on behalf of GLBTQ, POC, the aged and Mother Earth. For Peg, a strong, steady inner life was central. At her core, she lived an intentional life, one that sought meaning. Peg honored the importance of silence and listening that she needed as she walked her lifelong journey.
She leaves behind Ellen Thompson, sister; brothers Bob (Robert Michael) and Bill (William Stephen)Thompson; niece, Eve (Evelyn Maureen) Thompson and nephews; Collin Ray Audley, Michael and Andrew Sage.
