Nora Theresa Liggitt, also known as Noreen, passed away on January 13, 2024, at home in Lakewood, Colorado, at the age of 69 after a long fight with cancer.She was born on January 27, 1954, in Denver, Colorado. Nora was a beloved wife of John Liggitt and a cherished mother to Zackory Kee Goodman,the late Jimi Nicole Goodman and Natalie Shoemaker. She was a devoted daughter to Bill and Glenna Felker and the late James Americo Canale. Nora was a loving sister to Jimmie Lynn Forey,Veronica and JC Canale.She was also a proud grandmother to Melania Rose Lichty, Nico Theresa Christopher, Eloise Marie Christopher, Abigail and Annabell Shoemaker.
Nora had a fantastic attitude, always smiling, with an indomitable spirit. She was known for her loyalty and love, embodying a tomboy spirit. In her career, she ran a successful home improvement business and was an expert in fine porcelain repair, having studied with a museum expert in Ocala, Florida. Nora was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, camping, and horses.
A ceremony to honor Nora's life will be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior or St. Jude Children's Hospital. The funeral home assisting with the arrangements is 5280 Cremation in Aurora, Colorado.
